Rammstein in Russia replaced RADIO TAPOK

“Children, attention! Hush, laugh. I am the voice of darkness, I am created by pain. And he brought something for everybody from the chest by tearing it out with blood, ”these are lines from the famous Rammstein song“ Mein Herz Brennt ”, sounding in the Russian-language cover version, which was made by the Russian group RADIO TAPOK. The feature of this project by Oleg Abramov is a difficult but topical sound and his own reading of well-known foreign rock hits, which combines a special vocal presentation and an equi-rhythmic translation. Recently, the team arranged an energetic performance in which the artists completed the musical part with spectacular costumed reincarnations and diluted the program with sharp jokes.

Every fan club has its own traditions. Despite the warm season, fans of this team brightened up the hourly wait for their heroes to appear on the stage, chanting: “Sne-gu-roch-ka!”. As soon as the clock struck eight in the evening, the long-awaited “Snow Maiden”, more precisely, the numerous “Snow Maiden” in the person of the musicians went up to the stage. The hall boomed, and the first reefs of the song “Millionnik” sounded in the gloom. After her performance, Oleg warmly greeted the fans and continued the show, plunging the fans deeper into the atmosphere of his music. They reacted particularly violently to the cover of the song “Hard Rock Hallelujah” by the Finnish group Lordi – the winners of “Eurovision”. Variations on Powerwolf and the warlike Sabaton followed. Emotions heated up, the audience laid out one hundred percent, not lagging behind the musicians.

The culmination of the whole event was a cover on the famous “Sonne” Rammstein, after which the raging audience could not calm down and asked to sing “Deutschland” – the song from the new album “Ramm”, to which the Germans recently peresentovali provocative, sharp social clip. The team did not go on about the audience, trying to distract her from obsessive thoughts about Rammstein with jokes about bass guitarists (who, by the way, are loved by many musicians), and then comforted the listeners with variations on the composition Gorillaz, System of a Down and Linkin Park, on which Abramov also shot bright and atmospheric clips. Before performing the song “Demons”, the authors of the original of which are Imagine Dragons, Oleg asked to turn off the whole world, and the fans to turn on the flashlights on their mobile phones. Not new, but spectacular. The composition “Welcome to the Black Parade” of the group My Chemical Romance sounded from the newcomer to the group’s repertoire.

After sad and melancholic romances, the guests of the evening staged a flash mob with balloons to the song Gorillass “Feel Good Inc”. At some point, the artists left the stage, and then returned, but without their frontman, after which the long-awaited and already mentioned “Mein Herz brennt” sounded, plunging the entire hall into an ecstatic state. In the light of the red spotlights, Oleg appeared on the court in a black tuxedo, and the fans chanted a line from the song: “Heart light!”. Toward the close of the match, the guys played two more netms of Rammstien – “Du Hast” and “Ich Will”.

The strange name of the project was born from Oleg’s nickname – “Slippers”. Presenting his musicians in the finale, he affectionately called them “my Alexander Garden,” so he paid special attention only to drummer Denis. However, his other colleagues on the scene, it seems, is not offended. Everyone was pleased with the evening.
